Burger's World is a short digital piece of animation done using Adobe Photoshop and After Effects. It is set in a surreal and comedic world, that has familiar elements such as the red/grey bus stops, red buses, and high streets with various shops commonly found in London.
INSPIRATION
I was actually inspired by a piece of art I created many years before creating Burger's World - an oil pastel drawing of a burger with some fries and a pizza bag. This piece combines some things that are not good for us: fast food and smoking.
CREATING THE ANIMATION
This piece had many elements within it, I drew, coloured and created every asset you see in the animation including the shops, the trees (some of my photographs were used for these) and the main character: the burger person. I was inspired by every day London scenery, and placing something quite surreal like a person who is a burger, into this every day environment; using bright colours for the pavements and surroundings.
