Man on the Train, is a short piece of stop motion animation, the main character being done as a paper cut out, then shot frame by frame. The animation also has digital elements such as the background, and other characters. This piece explores day to day life such as travelling on the London tube system but portrays it in a surreal way, with strange characters, bright colours, and distorted images through the window.
CREATING THIS ANIMATION
I created a cut out puppet, using interesting images from different magazines, stuck them on card, and attached the joints together using wire. The background was created in Photoshop.
